If you’re after a super relaxing luxe long weekend away, keep reading …

Accommodation

There is a tonne of accommodation in town, as long as you book ahead. I used airbnb and stayed at the stunning Bask & Stow

There are three luxe guesthouses, SEA, SUN, and SALT on the block with a stunning shared plunge pool

Relaxed coastal living meets mid century design vibes all day long

For something more up market, try Rae’s at Watego’s Beach, or Elements of Byron. Both are amazing – but be prepared to pay for it.

Eat, Drink and Repeat

I can’t really mention Byron without mentioning the foodie experience. Byron has some amazing cafes for “brunch” – my favourite meal of the day. I’d recommend any of the below to try:

The Top Shoptucked away at the back of Byron (footsteps away from Bask & Stow) this is one of my faves – they specialise in burgers, coffee & breakfast. The breakfast burger is amazing not to mention the avo toast.

Bayleaf, their bircher – nom nom nom. They also do everything organic (like most places in Byron).

The Mez Club, perfect for afternoon drinks - the margarita is beyond not to mention the warm Sicilian olives!

The Farm / Three Blue Ducks, this is an absolute must! If you can drive & get a reservation, well worth visiting! This paddock to plate restaurant, has so much to offer. The food is incredible, all the vegetables and produce are source from the on-site farm and are 100% spray and chemical free. Really take you time here to soak up the natural landscape while enjoying your food. Afterwards you can explore the farm and to met the animals.

Rae's on Wategos, is one of the most acclaimed Byron Bay restaurants, eat there once and you'll know why. Bookings essential.

Swim and Sun bake

Wategos is my favourite beach, dare I say in NSW ! Soft sand, crystal clear water, a postcard-worthy stretch of beach. The Pass comes in a close second! More crystal clear waters, no waves, and a million dollar view!

If you’re not in the mood for sand, head to the Elements of Byron, Central Lagoon pool. Temperature controlled large pool with private cabanas, hanging day beds and full poolside service.

Expert tips: Hire a car!! Not everything is in walking distance and you’ll end up saving $ on Ubers/taxis in the long run.

xx
